"Don't Be Afraid to Dream"

In the September issue of Sonar, there is an extensive interview with Nix about the fascinating and unpredictable path of his career. From electronic engineer to comic book author/animator and then back to being a PhD student researching the use of AI to create comics and animations. The underlying theme throughout his journey has been the drive to realize dreams. Sonar, the KU Leuven magazine that highlights its researchers three times a year, sent its best writer and photographer to Nix’s studio (text by Pieter-Jan Borgelioen, photos by Rob Stevens).
