Cartooning Workshop with Nix

You can become a cartoonist in no time ! All it takes is some discipline and an hour of your time. Nix, author of the comic series "Kinky & Cosy" and "De Buurtpolitie" brings a workshop in which you will learn all the tricks of the trade. Anatomy, onomatopoeia, professional ethics, the generous smile, pencil sharpening for beginners, color theory and funny noses are topics that can be covered. If you are a teenager and you dream of being world famous with a pen and paper, this is your thing!

Practical Information

Maximum of 25 participants (preferably young teens). A workshop lasts about 1.5 hours

Supplies

• Tables and chairs in a quiet room
• A projector or large screen with HDMI connectionn
• A white board or flipchart + markers
• Per participant: sufficient white paper size A4
• Three (coloring) pencils per participant
• A cup of coffee

Nix's guest lecture is subsidized by Flanders Literature at the rate of 100 euro per lecture (www.auteurslezingen.be/nix).
